JUVENILE NEWS

Juvenile & Little Athletics

The cold & icy conditions didn't dampen the spirits at our final Little Athletics & Juvenile training on Thursday night. Even with the astro pitches closed lots of festive fun dancing and treats were had. We even had a visit from Santa's much younger handsome nephew 'Sooty' who was on hand to give everyone a selection box. Huge thankyou to all the coaches. Training will resume in January. Keep an eye on WhatsApp for details.

League 3 - Cross Country Tymon Park

Very well-done Max, Maeve, Anna Mai, Saidhbhín and Mark who took on the wintry conditions in Tymon Park today.

Brave running by everyone -and an excellent 5th place finish for Mark Kelly in an intense boys U12 race adding 26 points to his total of 53 from Leagues 1 & 2.

Huge thanks to all the family members who supported our athletes, and thanks to Dara for co-ordinating the warmups and providing the very welcome hot chocolate at the end.

Special thanks to Donal Iremonger (Donore Harriers) for his mentoring support and guidance ….as always!

Also, huge thanks to Todd Kelly for taking wonderful photos.
