Juvenile Competition Update
We are very proud of our U12 athlete Mark Kelly who will represent LSA in the National Even Age Cross Country Championships in County Donegal this weekend.
Mark will take on a challenging 2000m cross country course on Rosapenna Golf Course hosted by Cranford AC.
Scenic Rosapenna lies between Downings and Creeslough, overlooking Sheephaven Bay. RTE will cover the action live from 11.30 on Sunday. More information can be found HERE
Exciting Relay News
Thanks to all the parents and coaches who got in touch regarding the first of this season's Track and Field Live meets in the NIA on Thursday 26th November.
Following your interest, LSA now has entries for five relay teams on the night.
Some of our Juveniles will take on the 60m sprint before the relays, and later in the evening our Junior, Senior and Master athletes will be on the track.
The Juvenile event has now sold out but if your child is interested in taking part in future indoor competitions please contact their coach or Louise (Juvenile Competition Secretary 0868327467)
Cross Country League - Final Event
The final race in the Cross-Country league series takes place in Tymon Park on Sunday 11th December at 11am. We’ll have more details on that event shortly - we would love to see as many of our Juveniles (2015 and older) taking part.
Cross Country Training
Saturday training continues in Newbridge Demesne at 2.30pm. This is open to all athletes born in 2012 and older. Although this is mainly a running session aimed at cross country training, we often add in some surprise elements. Last week Ruth took the opportunity to practice block starts in advance of the indoor 60m in the NIA Track & Field Live. Please talk to your child’s coach for more information.
ADULT SECTION
Run in the Dark
Congratulations to this brave group of ladies who took on the streets of Dublin for a 10k Run in the Dark on Wednesday night. This annual event takes place both physically & virtually across 4 continents to raise money to help cure paralysis in our lifetime. Well done ladies, fantastic running for a worthy cause.
Donabate Parkrun
Another great LSA turnout at this week's Parkrun with 12 members running. What an exciting parkrun it was with both Darragh and Pat featuring in the top 10 and a superb PB for Willie Cahill completing the run in an
impressive 22.44. Huge congrats to Ciara Cullen who ran her 50th parkrun on Saturday!

Fit4Life Group
Our Fit4Life group were completing their last LSRs this weekend before they participate in Clontarf Half Marathon. Well done gang. The training and dedication you have put in is inspiring.
Remembrance Run
Well done to Ian Tiernan, Sarah Minto & Juveniles Andrew & Daniel Minto who all participated in Sunday's Remembrance 5k in Phoenix Park. This unique annual event is a day to pause and remember family & friends passed, or others close to us that may be struggling with illness or other life struggles. It is a day to celebrate our own gift of days & fullness of health. Huge well done to all who participated.
