Irish Life Health Juvenile Championships
Anna Gavigan had another outstanding performance this weekend at the National Championships in Tullamore. Anna set a new championship record in Under 19 Discus with an impressive throw of 45.95 adding to her Senior and School's titles this year!
Huge Congratulation to Eabha who finished 5th in Under 16 Girls Hammer at the National Championships. A spectacular PB throw of 36.80 for Eabha, setting a new LSA record for 3kg hammer! We are excited to see what Eabha will do next!
Little Athletics
Little Athletics member Liam kept our Advanced intervals group on their toes on Saturday morning by running as many laps as the adults during their session! Great work Liam after competing in the Mini Euros all week you still had the energy to show them how it is done! Here he is celebrating with supporters Dara & Cian eating Yvonne's amazing Summer Berry Muffins!

Donabate Parkrun
LSA was well represented at this weeks parkrun! Congratulations to all our members who participated and a massive well done to Paddy Phillips who was first in an impressive 18:55. Huge thanks to our members Ali Conway, Fiachra Crean and Mícheál O'Dea for volunteering and for all the photographs! Also thanks to Nuala Freeman for helping me pick our members out of the photos! World Master Athletics 2022
Amazing news from Tampere Finland where our very own Dara Carr has won GOLD!!!! Her super start and perfect handover in Leg 1 of W50 4x-400m relay helped her & her team to win gold in an inspiring 4:40.26 beating a very strong Finnish Team. Well done Dara you truly are Superwoman!

Irish Runner 10 mile
Well done to the super 6 Suzanne, Ian, Nicola, Mark, Charlie and Ciara who competed in the Irish Runner 10 mile in Phoenix Park! Amazing running in serious heat!
Dunleer 4 Mile Road Race
More great news with both Anthony Sharkey and Shane O'Farrell finishing in the top 10 of today's hot and hilly Dunleer 4 Mile. Shane was also first in over 40 category! Congrats Anthony & Shane.
