Well done to all our athletes who took part in Meet 1 of the 2024 Juvenile Track and Field League. This is what coach Ruth said:
"We had 10 athletes in total take part in Shot Putt, High Jump and middle distance track events. . The youngest was 7 and entered the Under 10. The oldest was Under 15. TAs a coach I was super proud watching each athlete give their very best and push themselves even when it felt tough. LSA athletes did our club proud today."

The League is an excellent opportunity for all our athletes to "have a go" at the skills they have learned in training at a full athletics venue.
League 2 takes place in Tallaght AC on Saturday 11th May. Entry fee €3 payable on the day.
Our older Juveniles were also on the track alongside our Masters athletes in the first Graded Meet of 2024. Well done James Keegan competing in the Graded Meets for the first time.
Superb performance from Suzie Linkiewicz who goes from strength to strength with a best of 12.39 in the 100m.
400m runners Eabha O'Farrell and Michelle Brannigan took the opportunity to sharpen their block skills in the 100m with a sharp 13.14 for Eabha and 13.76 for Michelle.
Dara Carr shook off the cobwebs after her stellar performances at the recent European Masters with a 14.14 100m and Xavi Huber had the wind in his sales with a lovely 13.03. A little too much wind in his sales at 3.7m/s. Congratulations to first timer James Keegan who recently joined our Fit4Youth group and took on both 3000m (11.16.96) and the 100m sprint (12.8s)
