Volunteers required: So how can you get involved?
Firstly, you can sign-up to be a volunteer on the day - you mark yourself down for which jobs you would be willing to help with on the Google Sheet here:
(BTW- if you are trying to access the sheet using an iPhone you’ll probably need to download the Google Sheets app, free from the app store. If you are using a desktop PC or an Android phone you should be fine.)
Secondly, we would like to get as many sponsors as we can for the event. We are in a better position this year as we’ve got some nice videos, photos, and collateral from last year which can help potential sponsors envision how they could get involved. Anyone who knows / works for / has any contacts with any organisations they think could be interested in sponsoring the event please contact me and we can see what sort of package we can put together for them. We’d prefer cash sponsors; however, those can donate prizes are good as well.
Finally, anyone who would be willing to help myself and the Race Committee (Dara, Shane, and Adrian) in the organization, planning and admin of the race place feel free to get in touch with any of us and we can discuss how you can get involved.
